La Grande / Union County Airport Master Plan Update (2018)

Union County undertook a Master Plan Update for the La Grande / Union County Airport. As part of the project, aeronautical activity forecasts were prepared to determine the Airport’s needs over a 20-year planning period, resulting in a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved Airport Layout Plan and Capital Improvement Plan. Union County contracted with WHPacific, Inc. to prepare the Airport’s Master Plan. The project was funded, in part, through a grant from the FAA.

The Master Plan Update was be conducted with community involvement to gather input and direction. The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) was a major component of the public involvement/outreach.
