La Grande / Union County Airport Master Plan Update (2014-2015)
Union County is undertaking a Master Plan Update for the La Grande / Union County Airport. As part of the project, aeronautical activity forecasts will be prepared to determine the Airport’s needs over a 20-year planning period and alternatives for meeting those needs will be developed. The end result will be a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-approved Airport Layout Plan, along with a Capital Improvement Plan. Through a competitive selection process, Union County has contracted with WHPacific, Inc. to prepare the Airport’s Master Plan. The project is being funded, in part, through a grant from the FAA.
The Master Plan Update will be conducted with community involvement to gather input and direction. A Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) has been created, which will be a major component of the public involvement/outreach.
Below are links to the Master Plan Update Chapters. These chapters will be posted as they become available. This webpage will be updated throughout the project, so please check back often.
